Why there are no plans for a Nemibi iPhone® release?

To publish any app on App Store, a 99 USD annual membership is required, and since the idea of Nemibi is being free and non-profit, is not worth it, so you'll need an Android™ or Windows® device in order to play Nemibi.

Why you started developing Nemibi?

In 2021, I wanted to play a certain game on my PC, but that game minimum requirements was pretty high for me and I was complaining (To get an idea, I only have 4 GB RAM and that game required 8 GB RAM) so I got the idea to develop a new game that does not ask for very high requirements that can even run in a mobile anytime you want.

Which was the inspiration for the design of Nemibi?

To develop Nemibi and the graphics, characters and music, It was based from the discontinued 2D pixel graphics games between 2000-2010, especially from the DS/3DS and GBA games to give that similar experience.

Did you made the game alone?

Yes, I made all of Nemibi levels, story, characters, graphics, art, sound effects, music, trailer and website. Except for the fonts and voices.

When was Nemibi released and why is called like that?

Nemibi was released on September 25, 2022 (after 10 months of development) and is called that because I wanted a name that was simple and easy to remember, made by combining the names of the main characters, as well as my name for publication and website, Sumenime.

Will Nemibi have a multiplayer mode?

Online multiplayer will not be supported, but by pressing the F2 key, you can activate the local multiplayer mode, which the second player uses the I, J, K, and L keys to move, the N key to jump and the M key to attack.

Does Nemibi contain a virus?

Nemibi doesn't contain or make any suspicious or harmful actions or files, and any suspicious detection is a false positive.

How often will the game be updated?

I will update the game when me or someone finds an error or when I get a good simple idea that I like.

How I can transfer my levels and saved progress or share my created Nemibi levels to the public?

The editor levels are saved locally in the folder "save" on the game folder in files named "nemilevel_" with the level number and the .nlv (Nemibi Level) extension, something like "nemilevel_1.nlv" and all the saved progress from the 3 saved files and settings are in the folder "save" in the file "nemibi.sav" that you can move to another device with the game.

Game is not saving! How to resolve it?

Make sure that in the game location the directory "save" is there, if that directory is not there, you can create it, otherwise, the game cannot save.

Why the game is not showing any graphics when is opened?

This happens when there is not Direct3D Acceleration, to enable it, open "dxdiag", and make sure both "DirectDraw Acceleration" and "Direct3D Acceleration" are enabled, if it can't be enabled because is not available, press the F1 key while opening the game to disable DirectX Acceleration, it has some visual errors but the game is still playable.

Will you make a Nemibi sequel?

If Nemibi has very good support and many people like it, I will be thinking if it's possible to make a sequel.

Can I use Nemibi content for making my own content like videos, art or music?

You may create, modify, distribute or publish any content based on Nemibi, including videos, art, music or any other content, as long as you do not claim that the in-game content was created by yourself or someone other than Sumenime, but it is not necessary to give credits as long as you meet the above conditions.

For example, if you create some character art, you can say that you made the drawing, but you didn't design the character.
